Every winter, FOLC conducts their Winter Planting Program which involves local schools, corporate groups and the general public.

Friends of Lake Claremont is a community volunteer organisation which assists in the conservation and enhancement of Lake Claremont.

Orders placed in October/November allows for stock to be grown specifically for the projects, ensuring quantity and quality going into the winter planting season.

Plantrite successfully took on provenance propagation of the local form of Chamelaucium uncinatum (Wembley Wax), from a naturally occurring population in Bold Park for reintroduction into the Lake Claremont revegetation area.

We have been working with the Friends of Lake Claremont since 2013 and since that time have grown and delivered in excess of 100,000 plants.
