Revegetation works at Lake Badgerup were required to be carried out by the City as part of their environmental offset requirements.

Seed was collected by Plantrite from the Lake Badgerup reserve, propagated and grown on in Forestry Tubes for the following winter planting season.

For species that could not be propagated from seed (such as Adenanthos cygnorum, Scaevola repens and Hibbertia subvaginata) Plantrite supplied plants grown with provenance-specific cutting material, collected from within the reserve.

Over a 3-year period Plantrite supplied over 160,000 provenance specific plants to help the City towards achieving their offset requirements.
