Over 60,000 plants were contract grown mainly in 63 cell trays, for this new development situated next to the Canning River. As a requirement for the new estate rain gardens, a bio retention basin and wetlands were to be developed and planted between the river and the new estate. Most of the plant species used were wetland plants such as Juncus pallidus, Meeboldina cana and other species that can tolerate the very damp conditions of this site in winter and the run off from the new estate. Planting for this project occurred during Winter 2017.
